FMU Block

The FMU block can be used to interact with a Functional Mock-up Unit (FMU) model for co-simulation. The FMU block determines its inputs, outputs, and parameters based on the values defined in the associated FMU. In order to use an FMU block, you must first upload a statically linked FMU file.

Inputs

• One input for each model variable of causality "input".

Outputs

• One output for each model variable of causality "output".

Parameters

• FMU: Which FMU type to use. This field will be a dropdown that allows you to select from the FMU files uploaded to Static Assets.
• The block will also have parameters for each variable of causality "parameter" in the FMU model.
